Meeting with Architect Robinson at Queued Pizzeria – JMG

Yesterday, our team from JMG Construction had the opportunity to sit down with Architect Robinson Chua for a productive and insightful meeting. The conversation was held at Queued Pizzeria, located at Metro Arcade, Iponan, and joining me were Engr. Frankyrex Zayas, Engr. Shanna Rica Sabello, and Jaica Mutia, our dedicated Planning and Design Apprentice.

The Agenda

The meeting started on a positive note with casual conversation and shared stories about common friends, which quickly made the atmosphere comfortable and open. Architect Robinson shared his past project experiences, discussing both the successes and the challenges he faced in the field. This set the tone for an in-depth conversation about the ongoing project, particularly the structural engineering concerns.

Key Discussion Points

We focused heavily on the structural engineering analysis of the ongoing project for Sir Gabucan. The architectural plans need alignment with the structural design, and we carefully discussed how to ensure the project’s safety and success moving forward. Engr. Frankyrex Zayas and I presented our perspectives, along with Engr. Shanna Rica Sabello’s insights into addressing the technical issues. Architect Robinson Chua was receptive and engaged, which made the conversation flow smoothly.

The Importance of Collaboration

One of the highlights of the meeting was the shared understanding of the importance of collaboration between architectural and engineering disciplines. We all agreed that to ensure the owner’s vision becomes a reality, it is crucial that both the design and the structure are in harmony. With Engr. Cesar set to assist in further structural analysis, the project is now on track for a deeper evaluation of the proposed changes.

Looking Forward

By the end of the meeting, we felt that this was more than just a routine discussion—it was the start of a promising collaboration. We are hopeful that JMG Construction will play a critical role in the continued success of this project. We are ready to provide the necessary structural expertise to ensure both safety and design integrity, bringing the owner’s dream home to life.

Overall, the meeting left us optimistic. As we wrapped up the day, we reflected on the positive progress made and the potential for future collaborations. At JMG, our goal is to ensure that every project we touch benefits from strong partnerships, a commitment to quality, and a clear focus on client satisfaction.
